Our story

An initiative built by farmers, for farmers.

MM Farms is led by Mohd Mehdi, a farmer from Sirsi who started bringing his neighbours' produce to market together — so that everyone got a fair price, not just the largest landholder.

Today we aggregate crops from hundreds of farming families across the district and supply them directly to businesses. No middlemen, no opaque mandi cuts — just honest produce, an honest price, and a community that grows together.

How we farm

Grounded in stewardship, not shortcuts.

We believe agriculture should give back to the soil it takes from. Our approach prioritises long-term land health, fair work, and produce you can trace back to the farmer who grew it.

  • Fair, direct pricing

    No middlemen. Farmers are paid honestly, and buyers get a transparent supply chain from field to crate.

  • Water conservation

    Efficient tube-well irrigation and scheduled watering to protect local water tables season after season.

  • Crop rotation

    Planned rotation between cereals, pulses and vegetables to naturally replenish soil nutrients.

  • Minimal pesticide

    Biological pest management first; chemical inputs only when necessary, never as the default.
